TestExecute - Way to *not* show the log in IE automatically?
Hi everyone,
I am wondering if there is any way to suppress IE from launching with test log upon a completion of TestExecute run. I still want the log to be generated, so I can examine it later using TestComplete. I just don't want the IE to start automatically.
Thanks,
Motoo

Run TestExecute standalone. Then, right click on the SysTray icon. Select Options. Select Engine | Log. There's an option there to open the log at the end of the run. Make sure that is unchecked. Save your changes and exit TestExecute.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
