TestComplete Trial Chrome not recording

I am part of a team evaluating TestComplete for my company.   For some reason when I record a test nothing is getting into the keyword test.   It open chrome but that is it.    No recording of the application once I am in Chrome.   I am using TestComplete 15.    Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I am going to try a reinstall this time before the install I will also remove the chrome extension and have it re-installed.   There is a prompt to install something (I forget what exactly).   I am going to say "no" this time and see what happens.   Fingers and toes crossed.

I have not gotten anyone to give me admin access to re-install.   A co-worker just downloaded and got it installed and is having the same issue.   The browser is opened when I start the recording but it never directs to the URL it is supposed to.   Just stays on the blank page.   😞

So I worked with SmartBear and our Solution Center and it turns out our antivirus software needed some kind of correction. But now my recorded test will not run. Has anyone run with dual monitors but only testing on one of them?? Do I need to temporarily disable the other monitor while running TestComplete??

No number of monitors shouldn't matter. I would recommend setting the DPI for all monitors to 100 percent and trying again.

I use 3 monitors in the office, and 2 at home.

SmartBear Support got me all straightened out.   Turns out the URLs in the Name Mapping folder had to be modified to use wildcards as there is dynamic value in the URLs.   I was able to create some tests that work great.    Not sure if we will go with this package but at least now I can give it a good evaluation.  Thanks everyone.
