You have event locking turned on... which is, actually, a best practice. All those "click" and "keys" and such are really unnecessary unless you need to debug something or research why a test step failed.

There's an option that says "Store last _____ events". Set that to 0 to see ALL events... but that just increases your log unnecessarily. I usually use "20" in there as that is enough to make sure that I can debug other problems.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
