Does this happen only when you have a project loaded, or at all times? Does it happen only when TestComplete has keyboard focus? Can you speculate on recent changes that caused this issue to "suddenly" appear?
Easy thing to try is to uninstall/reinstall TestComplete to see if that makes a difference. Uninstalling may unregister any stray hotkeys that got associated with TestComplete...

Hi Michaud,
I have observed this issue in Test complete version - 11.0 while scripting, when trying to undo the script changes suddenly TC got exit, I was shocked. Recently TC 11.0 was upgraded to TC 11.2 issue is observed in this version also.
I feel like it's a defect. Can i report to TC development team?
Thanks,
Vijay.

I just tried what you suggested in TC 12.0.122.7 and was unable to reproduce the issue. CTRL-Z only undoes the changes.
I would agree with Michaud. It sounds like, for some reason, the CTRL-Z keybinding has been improperly associated with closing the application. You can try and reset the defaults in TC or do the uninstall/reinstall to reset them.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.

Hi Martin,
I haven't modified any default settings. May I know the steps you followed?
I observed in below scenario:
a. Opened the project suite (.pjs file)
b. Added few lines of code (not copy, paste) by typing the code
c. Used keyboard keys CTRL+Z for more than thrice
Actual Result: Suddenly TC got exit.
Thanks,
Vijay.

I did precisely those steps and did not run into the problem.

Is your project bound to a source code control system? If it is, do you see the same behavior when you use a project *not* bound? Do you see the same behavior for every project or just one project?
