TC 14 and TFS 'project node is write-protected'?

I have new copy of TC 14 installed on my local PC.  We are using TFS for source control.  I did a get latest from source control to my local PC and the let TC 14 convert the project suite. There were many read only permmisions issues opening the project suite after the convert and now each time I open the suite I get the following dialog.  Any suggestions?

I submitted the case but it does not show up as an open case when I log in. Maybe it takes some time to be processed?

On a related note this problem seems to resolve itself after I work with the suite and check it back in.  However this occurs with each suite I convert and work with.   The read only attribute is removed from the .pjs and other related files.  The KWT files and other files seem to remain read only but do not cause a problem after I have checked out, edited and checked in a file or two.

On the 1st open after a convert I get numerous prompts to over write files.  If I checkout the suite first this does not happen.  I always click 'overwrite'

After I logged in to the support portal and submitted my case it showed up.  There was no indication of a failure when I was not logged in however.

Hi @scot1967,

Is there any news from the Support you can share with us?

I did get my case entered.  I was not logged in when I created the case.  It allowed me to enter a case anyway but I don't know where it went.

The response was, "Thank you for uploading the images. I'm glad to hear the issue is resolved now. The files do indeed have the read-only status before they're checked out for edit, so you found the correct solution. This case will be closed, but if you have any questions in the future, please feel free to contact us,  I am glad you found the correct answer and that the case would be closed."

I requested documentation to further explain this behavior and the case is still open.  I still receive propmpts sometimes that the project file is read only and I must click 'Overwrite' to keep working.

Another update.  I recieved a response from support on Sunday morning indicating the behavior is not expected and that they could not reproduce it.  They requested more details and steps to reproduce the problem so I did my best to provide a step by step bulleted list of what I have done and seen.

Thanks for follwing along with me on this.

Have a great day!

Thanks for the update, we are experiencing the same issue.
