Need help on switching testdata based on the testing environment with one variable and function

Hi

We are implementing automation framework in TestComplete for Desktop automation. We are using desktop application for both QA and QB testing. We have set of testdata for QA and different testdata for QB.

Qs: I have to use only one variable and one function for both QA and QB so when I run the pack from execution plan with the tag "Regression_QA" then it should take QA values and run all the tests tagged under "Regression_QA" and same for QB.

How to do this? Please provide solution for this.

What kind of data is this? 

Is it something that could be stored as a parameter value and then called in execution via the execution plan? 

Its hard to know without knowing the use case more however Testcompletes commandline interface allows variable values to be parsed on execution
