My program is inexplicably starting up with a seemingly random process index number rather than 1

I've been working with TC for about a year now, and just recently am I starting to see the Process Index of my program change after every start up. It used to always be one if only one instance was running, but today the process index will be something random between 2 and 4.

How do I get name mapping to just pick which ever active process is running, regardless of index? I wanted to use a wildcard, but you can't use a wild card for Index number in Name mapping :(
