Is it possible to invoke/execute Test Complete test cases from Command prompt?
Hi Team,
Sanghamitra here.
I have provided my queries below.
Query:
-Is it possible to invoke/execute Test Complete test cases from Command prompt?
I have already tried one but did not work out:
-Open the command prompt
-provided the project path in command prompt as below
Testcomplete.exe "C:\Projectpath\test.pjs" /r /e
Problem facing after this:
I have 2 versions installed in my machine(Testcomplete 12 &14)
When I started from command prompt , by default test complete 12 is launching but I want to execute either one option , it may be 12 or 14..How I can achieve that.
It is very importance and priority task .
Please suggest me to find the solution to get done. If required or it is not clear ,please call me

Here's how to run TestComplete from the command line
An alternative is to use TestExecute to run your test

Getting a different version to run will probably be a matter of running the command line prompts from inside each version's directory.

as @Marsha_R stated, just specify the full path of the testcomplete executable that you want to run with:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 14\x64\Bin\TestComplete.exe (for version 14 etc.)
