How to verify sysdate consecutively in a keyword test

Im trying to do a checkpoint or a compare in a keyword test to verify the pre-loaded date matches system date.

I have created a variable in an Excel sheet using the function "=Today()" and referenced that variable in a compare. It works correctly the initial day but not the next day as excel needed to be re-opened in order for that function to update properly.

Any suggestions on work-around or other methods that can be used to verify sysdate?
