How to format jscript code in Test Complete IDE

I have my Test complete 8.20 project in JScript. As project is growing so the test files and the code. Unlike other IDE's, Visual Studio or Eclipse there is no code formatting option in Test C...

this feature will be great, please include code formatting to your IDE.

I was looking for this too so as a workaround I load the files into Visual Studio Code (which is free) and use the auto indent tool there

    A while back someone ported over a formatter to work in TC as a script extension. I can't find the original post so I can't give proper credits, but attached is a zip of the extension files.

      Great - how do I install / activate it ?

       

      The help file says to double click on a tcx file ????

        Extract the zip file to a stand alone folder. 

         

        You'll find in there several files: an xml, a bmp, and a js file.

         

        Add those three to a stand-alone zip... then change the extension from ZIP to TCX.
