Getting "An internal error occurred while running the Google Chrome browser." randomly

Hi there,

I was running test on Chrome, and I was getting error "An internal error occurred while running the Google Chrome browser." from time to time. With the exact same test script, for the most of time it worked just fine, but sometimes it throw this error, sometime occurred at the beginning of the test, sometime occurred in the middle of a test. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

Thanks in advance

What Chrome version and what TestComplete version are you running?  Do you perhaps need a patch from here?

My TC version is 14.50.943.7 x64, and my Chrome is 88.0.4324.182 (Official Build) (64-bit)

It looks like there is no patch provided since TC version 14.20

Hi,

Why not to update TC to the (latest) version that supports your version of Chrome?
