Fail to open TestComplete suite project after SVN update

Hi All,

I made some changes in my local TestComplete suite. Before pushing my changes in, I did an SVN update to pull some other changes. After the SVN update, when I try to open the suite in TestComplete, it fails and gives the error "The project node is not available. Initialization error. [The file.....\MyProject.mds has an invalid format. The \test data\child list node contains several nodes with the same name item idx=0192.]". Now, I am not able to open the suite project anymore. It seems that the suite is now broken. Any help is appreciated.

In the project explorer, under the Project Suite, the project shows as "Unavailable [Project]" with a kind of broken grey symbol.

Try doing a Revert on your .mds file.  Sounds like something corrupted it in the update.

Using source control, you can revert any file to a previously known good version. 

But, as @AlexKaras , old thread.  If you need help beyond this, please open a new thread.
