Duplicate Issue while adding a record in DB

When I record my test I can add a record but when I playback it gives me a duplicate error. How do I get around this issue without writing any scripts.

 Record the action to delete the record you want to add ?

I want to add the record first and verify it was added successfully in DB. After that I could delete the record and add it back. Can this be done without scripting?

By record, yes certainly, but not a good way of doing.
