Comparison of data with .Net Application Form

Hi 

 

I am trying to use Test Complete to compare the data of a grid view(.Net Application)..Please find attachment below for the application

with external file say excel.

I want to compare the data and if there is any difference the same should be highlighted in the error log

 

 

Please advise how to proceed further

    You can use DDT xl driver to extract data from xl as per this document

    you can read grid values as per this

     

    if you are just starting with testcompleate, aware that there is learning curve.

    But it worth of spending time on learning

    If there is any specific technical questions / difficulties, this forum is always helpful
