There's nothing built in to TestComplete to compare log files.
If it takes taht much work to determine what has passed and/or failed, then it sounds like you might want to revist your model for what you write to the log itself. Generally speaking, less is more... if something passes, you don't need to log it. Logging only failures makes your log much more readable.

Why automate? I do automated testing because there's only so much a human being can do and remain healthy. Sleep is a requirement. So, while people sleep, automation that I create does what I've described above in order to make sure that nothing gets past the final defense of the testing group.
