Check for Firefox to run in multiprocess mode .

How can we check firefox is running in multiprocess mode ? I was looking at the docs below from firefox 54 or later by default they run in multiprocess mode.

Thanks

Look here, section Multiprocess

https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/general/preparing-browsers/firefox.h...

So if you don't have the explicit environment variable telling NO multiprocess then you are in multiprocess.

You can check environment variable by this:

https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/reference/program-objects/aqenvironment/getenvironme...

Other way is to count process of Firefox..

@BenoitB Thank you for the updates

when we run the Testcomplete/Testexecute tests on firefox browser and the firefox is in multiprocess mode , Testcomplete/TestExecute do not detect that firefox is running in multiproces mode so that we can take appropriate action ?

I don't think so.

It's the reason why they tell us to do proper system configuration.

@BenoitB

Load "about:support" in the Firefox address bar.
Locate "Multiprocess Windows" under Application Basics near the top.
