Cant re-install TC12 after bad upgrade "Newer Version Installed"
Hello All,
After rolling out the latest TC12 update to 2 of our machines, one update failed and had to be aborted. The first machine updated fine and works, the second machine froze during the install an after 2 hours we aborted the update. It doesn't roll back to the previous build and I could not launch TestComplete anymore. Also, uninstall was messed up and the testcomplete entry was missing from add/remove programs. After performing an uninstall with a powerful uninstall program which found all the test complete entries, I still cannot install.
I immediately receive a Message : "Setup has found that a newer version of TestComplete is installed on your computer."
Is there a registry key that I need to delete? Where is the setup finding the version already exists?
