Can I do performance testing of WPF desktop application

Can I do performance testing of WPF desktop application using desktop module license. If yes, can you provide related links which I can refer?

Hi,

a) Please clarify your definition of 'performance testing' for the given case;

b) Generally speaking, performance measurement of desktop application is called profiling and can be done with the help of AQtime profiler (https://smartbear.com/product/aqtime-pro/features/, https://smartbear.com/product/aqtime-pro/specifications/).  TestComplete can be considered to a certain extent, but it depends on your answer to question a).

We have desktop applications. Can we check scenarios like

1. Time to launch application,

2.memory consumption,  

3.We are exporting some excel file from product, then can we check time to export that file etc

Also you can suggest me any other performance testing related scenarios for general desktop applications which users can check from TestComplete

It is profiling tool (e.g. AQtime) that should be used for scenarios that you mentioned.
