validate response received

Question

Hi all,i am sending the request in my test case and i get a response which is the list of transaction performed for the member.the easiest way i want is to compare the entire XML response in one assertion.I am new in this part. can you advise how please?Please note i am using non-Pro version. Iread from another post that Ole said to assert the envelop.I need an example please: Here is my XML response:----------------------------------------------------------------------&nbsp;  &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 20&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 47&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  1006&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  Member id is null&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------i would like to validate the entire XML response.ThanksNassir

Hi!Add an "XPath Match" assertion to your request and configure its XPath statement to select the root element (ie the SOAP Envelope) and set the expected content to the entire message.Good Luck!regards,/Oleeviware.com
