Testing a website written in ASP.NET

I am attempting to use SOAP UI open source version to test a web site written in ASP.NET. Is the SOAP UI open source version capable of doing this? I am getting stuck on POSTing with form data. My current guess is that it has something to do with posting back  the form data with a proper VIEWSTATE, VIEWSTATEGENERATOR, and EVENTVALIDATION values.
