Does SOAPUI 5 support connection through SOCKS?

Question

hi,I have a site, which i can access only thru ssh socks proxy and it is extremely important to have soapui working over socks5 proxy. in settings i see only "generic" proxy setting and setting&nbsp; vmoptions to&nbsp;-DsocksProxyHost=127.0.0.1-DsocksProxyPort=1080&nbsp;does not work. assuming trying to access http proxy instead of socks5.please advise how soapui can be used with socks5 proxy?&nbsp;thanks

thanks much for reaching back Richie,&nbsp;actually the suggestion was already in the config. maybe previously it was not being set correctly in the vmoptions file, but in my release it was there:&nbsp;-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true-DsocksProxyHost=127.0.0.1-DsocksProxyPort=1080&nbsp;the thing is that it just sets http proxy, whereas i am looking for socks5.&nbsp;thanks again,art

thanks NMRAO,following is the config from my vmoptions file and it does not work:&nbsp;-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true-DsocksProxyHost=127.0.0.1-DsocksProxyPort=1080&nbsp;my question is generic. i'd like to know if SOAPUI(the code itself) supports socks proxy or not? it might be supporting only http proxy...&nbsp;i'd appreciate if someone can confirm that.thanks 🙂

Could not find any of the above arguments in the github.com/smartbear/soapui (the source code)
