Linux Application Not appearing in Application list. How do i Launch application with GUI interface?

Question

Ive downloaded SoapUI in my linux environment. I cannot seem to open SoapUI from my menu of application list.

Their is no GUI image of SoapUi in my environment. i cant even open it without reinstalling it and opening again.

What flavour of linux? Do you have have X11 in there?Have you tried invoking soapui.sh from SOAPUI_HOME/bin directory? what happens when you do so?
