How to recover project file if corrupted

Whole day work is done on the project, but for various reason project file corrupted or overloaded with another file etc..

Is there a way we can recover that corrupted or previous version of the project file ? we don't have source code repository..every thing maintained locally on desktop

    Understand your concern and you are the good judge for your amount of efforts that went in for the day. I am afraid if there is any such feature available to recover when it happens like you mentioned.
    However, there is auto save interval can be set in File->Preferences->UI Settings -> Auto Save and set some value. I believe this can at least minimize the impact.
