Upon adding a new environment , all test cases are having an update

Hello,

I am adding or configuring  new environment in Ready API . Observing that with this addition , all test cases are having an update and I have to check in in all these changes. For example if i have 50 test cases , all 50 test cases now I need to check in.

I was under assumption that settings.xml will only have an update as new environment is added but looks like all test cases will have an update now.

Could somebody suggest as how to avoid it .
