Right Click Assertion issues

One of my co-workers does not see the assertions option when he right clicks in outline view in the response. Any idea what could cause this. Only his machine is exhibiting this behavior.

    Hi Ali,

    hmm.. just to make sure: is he in a TestCase/TestRequest Response message? (not in a standard Operation/Request).. If so, are there any errors in the log or console?

    Yes. He is in a different location than me but i talked to him and what I understood was that he was trying to create an assertion by going to the response (just like you described below) but would not see any options when he right clicks.

    I found this pretty odd so wanted to check if there are any dependencies on soapUI .

    hmm.. sounds strange.. can you ask him to send me (or you) a screenshot of the outline editor / where he is trying to click?

    The tester was doing it wrong. He was trying to create the assertion in the response in the interface. Sorry for the trouble
