Ready API 2.2 to 2.5 versions: Update RAML#1.0 definition
Hey guys,
Did anyone suceed in updating the RAML#1.0 definition in any of the Ready API versions 2.2 to 2.5? If yes, can you please provide the information about the required libraries(also version numbers)?
I have tried all the instructions from Ready API 'soapui-raml-plugin' documentation, installed the plugin in Ready API, copied the required 'raml-parser-0.9SNAPSHOT', 'snakeyaml.1.13' libraries into bin/ext folder but NOTHING works!
I have the following error in the UI when I try to update an existing RAML deifinition:
Failed to update the interface: [ java.lang.RuntimeException: Builder not found for <NodeTuple keyNode=<org.yaml.snakeyaml.nodes.ScalarNode (tag=tag:yaml.org,2002:str, value=description)>; valueNode=<org.yaml.snakeyaml.nodes.ScalarNode (tag=tag:yaml.org,2002:str, value=Interface for the Service.<br>
Latest update on XXXX-XX-XX.<br>
Secured with basic authentication. <br>
Encoding convention for all data of this service is UTF-8.
)>> ]
I have attached the error logs as reference.
Thanks,
bpadaraju

@bpadaraju, let's refer to our Community Leaders, maybe they can assist us here.
@Lucian, @HimanshuTayal, @nmrao, @groovyguy, @Radford, @richie, @jhanzeb1, @JHunt, have you ever encountered any similar behavior? Can we try to find a solution together?
Thank you all in advance!

Hey,
I haven't tried doing this myself as yet.........I'm a bit busy for the next couple of days - but I can try and give it a shot by midnext week - cant promise I can help, but I'll at least try and replicate the problem - I might spot something.
Any other takes? 🙂

While I do not have any experience of RAML, It looks like Ready API version 2.6 has just been released today. The list of bug fixes includes:
- It was impossible to update and refactor RAML definitions. (RIA‑9524)
It might be worth downloading this new version and giving it a try?

Hi Radford,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have installed the Ready API Version 2.6 and tried to update the RAML definition, but I still get the same error as in the earlier versions. I'm sorry, but the bug is NOT FIXED.
