REST VirtResponse property expansion
Hi!
I wonder if it possible to use property expansion in REST VirtResponse response?

Hey @ehsmaan
It's been a while since I was using ReadyAPI VIRTs, but VIRTs support custom properties.
Review this --> https://support.smartbear.com/readyapi/docs/virtualization/reference/rest-virt-properties.html
so according to this, it definitely supports properties so I wouldve thought expanding them wouldn't be a problem..... or am I misunderstanding something?
Cheers,
Rich
if this helped answer the post, could you please mark it as 'solved'? Also if you consider whether the title of your post is relevant? Perhaps if the post is solved, it might make sense to update the Subject header field of the post to something more descriptive? This will help people when searching for problems. Ta

Hi!
I should have made it more clear that I am asking about the test step REST VirtResponse, not REST Virtual Service.

Hey @ehsmaan,
I wont be much help on this. Ive seen this step type used once about 4 years ago so havent got the experience to comment.
However, the help link you specified does indicate you can create custom properties on the virt response step, so id go with my previous guess that it does in fact support property expansion.
Cheers,
Rich
