Could not get the question or imagine.

Would you provide more details? What do you mean by "legacy API"? A SOAP Request test step ?

      Hi Rao,

      Thanks for addressing my clarifications.

To provide more details about Legacy API.

Legacy API is associated with SOAP Request test step only.

My question here is which type of Test step Legacy API designed to work with,

Ex:XML - RPC, REST Request or JDBC Request ?

      Hope it clarifies your question

      Thanks

Looks there is still confusion. I think you know the need better than an external person. Ultimately, the respective type of the request step should be used in order to test the application services. If application exposes RPC, a SOAP type step can't be used. If there is not clear idea, you may want check with the service provider or your developer (in case if it is internal) to know better about the API before you to test.
