How to append data into excel using soapui pro

Hi,

I have an excel and store the response in that file. I am using datasink to store the data into excel. It overwrites the existing data on executing the project again.

How to append the data into excel?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have this same question. I also use DataSink but it is clearing out all the data in the Excel file before writing the new data. If anyone could chime in promptly it would be appreciated. Thank you

Edit: I tried changing my DataSink type to a 'File' (using a .txt file), and there it does have an option to Append. However the results need to be saved into my Excel file which needs to retain the data that is already in it.
