Event handler "ProjectRunListner.BeforeRun" does not run when running single test suite through mave

Event handler "ProjectRunListner.BeforeRun" does not run when running single test suite or test case from maven. My pom has  <testSuite>My test Suite Name</testSuite> in configuration block.

Ideally i am running soapui project from maven with condition that run only x test suite, project before run should run successfully.
