QAComplete sync with JIRA, how can we sync the folders? I've tried all sorts of combinations.

I'm syncing QAComplete (QAC) with JIRA for requirements.

I'd like to sync up the folder I have (like Story) to the "Issue Type" (like Story)

Has anyone ever done this? It would be nice to have all the

JIRA stories go to the (QAC)story folder,

JIRAtasks to the (QAC)taks folder and

JIRAsubtasks to the (QAC)subtask folder

If I am understanding your question correctly, you have folders named 'Story', 'Tasks', etc in QAComplete and you want to have issues of type Story from Jira go to the folder "Story" in QAComplete.  Is that correct?

Are you using the Jira Connector or OpsHub?

I would also like to be able to do this, so far I have been unsuccessful.  I am using the latest version of the Jira Connector.

Hello Stephanie,

Our current JIRA Connector can't do this right now.
I am going to create a case for you and pass your request on to our Product Management team.

Thank you,
Christiane

Hello Dan,

Our current JIRA Connector can't do this right now.
I will also create a case for you and link it to the same feature request that I just forwarded to our Product Management team.

Thank you,
Christiane

OK I'll look forward to the decision of your prod mng team.

I have mapped folder ID in SmartBear to a Custom Field in JIRA (it at least works one way JIRA>QAC )

Which is okay if QAC is the slave (Epics and Stories) - just a bit of a pain remembering and adding the number in the JIRA field.
