Defect Linking Across Projects

Is there a way to link a defect in one project to a release/task in another? For example, say there are two projects that are closely related, and a bug in one project also effects the second. So there is one issue but it is causing problems in more than one project, and I would like to see that in the traceability section.

    Hi Brian,

    "Projects" in ALMComplete are divisions for security purposes - not really a project so to speak, but a separation of departments or divisions. Your users can have different security permissions to different projects - or no access to particular projects at all.

    So, sorry to say, there is no traceability across projects at this time.

    If your projects are that closely related, perhaps using the Releases function to separate the data would be appropriate?

    I am working on the initial configuration so I should be able to get around it. I was just curious if that was an option that I was not seeing. Thanks for the quick response!
