How to change colors in diff viewer

Hi All

How can I change the colors in the diff viewer? As a newby I'm trying to figure out how I can change the colors. For modifications the current color is yellow for the line and 'darker' yellow for the actual change. However this is sometimes difficult to see, so I would like to change the color, but I have no idea how to do this.
