How can I prevent users from logging into AlertSite directly when SSO is configured?

   AlertSite Single Sign-On provides an option that allows, or prevents, users from logging into the AlertSite console using credentials configured for the AlertSite user in the system.

 

 

    When this option is checked, users can log into AlertSite both through Single-Sign-On with your identity provider, and using the username and password configured for the user at AlertSite. Either will allow the user to access AlertSite.

 

    When this option is unchecked, users are not able to login with their AlertSite credentials and are limited to accessing the AlertSite console through the SSO provider. In this scenario, the password assigned to the user in the AlertSite console is meaningless. They can only login through the SSO provider.
