How to upload an SSL Certificate for your Up/Down and API Monitors

If your test requires a client-side certificate to be deployed, you can do so yourself for SoapUI API monitors, and for Up/Down Site monitors. Here's how:

First, browse to the AlertSite 1.0 console and select "SSL Certificates" from the Configure drop down. Click the Add a New Certificate button

Next, enter a name for the certificate, select a format and browse to the file on your local machine. Enter the certificate password and click Submit.

Now, select "APIs or "Sites" from the Configure dropdown, and click on the monitor the certificate will be used with to open the configure window.

Finally, select the certificate you added from the dropdown by "SLL Certificates" and click the Submit button. The certificate is distributed and the monitor will begin using it after propagation to the location which can take up to 30 minutes.

NOTE: DejaClick monitors and Selenium monitors do not support self distribution. AlertSite Support is still required for distributing certificates for these type of monitors.
