Project icons don't show components until saved and closed

The project workspace has a placeholder for projects you've created. They usually show a small view of the design layout, but only after you've opened and closed the project. Initial load of the project doesn't show them.

1) Launch Load UI
2) Import a project that has components on the canvas/grid
RESULT: The workspace has the project thumbnail with no components showing
3) Open the project that was imported
4) Save and close the project
RESULT: You can now see the components layout on the thumbnail
