soapui 3.5 beta 2 build query does not work with property expansion

Hello,
I am using a project variable for 'Driver' and 'Connection String' inside of the JDBC request test step. 'Test Connection' button works fine but the 'Build Query' button throws an error
'Failed to load JDBC driver: ${#Project#SQLDriver}

This does not happen if I substitute actual values in 'Driver' and 'Connection String'
