Apparently Collaborator Enterprise on an installed system reaches out to SmartBear (home base) to get an RSS news feed (to display on the WebUI home screen I assume)
We have Collaborator installed on a closed environment on an internal network. My admin is unhappy an installed program keeps trying to call home, and having to deal with the log/failures generated when that can’t happen.
A response to a problem ticket indicated that this feature cannot be turned off.
I ask that a setting (or such) be added to disable news, so machines without internet access don’t have to deal with this news retrieval issue.
