Sometimes we have an issue where alert emails stop sending on certain insite appliances. The emails get queued up and when we restart the appliance, they get sent. It would be good to be able to actually see the email queue on the appliance so that we can check this if we stop getting emails. An interface on the Admin site would be great.
Implementing a dedicated email queue monitoring interface on the Insite appliance's admin site is a practical solution. This interface should provide:
- Real-time queue status: Display the number of emails currently in the queue.
