As an alertsite admin I would like to be able to use the API to take action on monitors based upon tags.
For example:
Allow our automation to disable all monitors tagged as "Feature A" During a release then enable after the work is done.
This allows us to build more monitors withour keeping an internal repository of monitor IDs to take action on.
I agree with this. I would also like to be able to pass tag value to other product, for example Ops Genie. Pass a priority value and product and feature value.
Tagging is now supported via custom properties. Custom properties are also included in the monitor data available in AlertSite API.
This is great, will this be included as variable within the template editor soon?
