We are having issues with v7.52 after we updated to Visual Studio 2010, which runs on the new .Net 4 framework. Does 7.52 support this or will there be a patch soon to fix the issue? Or do we have to wait for TestComplete 8 to run any of our tests?

Sounds like the same scenario. We are seeing if our TestComplete 8 beta machine w/ .NET 4 finds anything beyond the base object.

http://downloads.automatedqa.com/support/d24b39bf-0029-4a40-be8c-8a4528393170This has the .dll file that fixes the issue, at least it seems to be working for us. Just overwrite the one in the TestComplete 7\Bin\Extensions folder and you should be good to go.

Alex: How do we go about qualifying for the TestComplete 8 Beta? We're pretty heavily invested in TestComplete 7 automation, so it would be nice to check out version 8 sooner rather than later (knowing full well it's a beta release, and not a final release candidate).

As per http://www.automatedqa.com/blogs/post/10-03-16/testcomplete-8-beta-starts-soon/, TC8 Beta is limited and invite only. The person who is registered at AQA as a customer from your side had to receive an invitation. Ask this person and there should be a link to apply for TC8 Beta on the Customer Login home page at AQA portal (https://clientservices.automatedqa.com/).
