Test Automation Task fails with 'Could not create the directory where uploaded files will be stored'

We are on Jira Data Center and trying to set up Test Automation PoC. What directory is used for storing the uploaded files and/or creating the folders? 

We receive a 500 error regarding the directory permissions and can not create the automation task.
