Autoset TestCase (TC) to 'Ready for Test' when UserStory status='Ready for Test'

Given UserStory (US) is set to 'Ready for Test' then related TestCase (TC) are set to 'Ready for Test'.

How to do this easily if we only have Zephyr Essentials licence?

Option A:
SysAdmin creates workflow/automations.
Is this possible with Zephyr Essentials licence?
How easy/hard - given my Jira SysAdmin has limited time.

Option B:
I manually create a filter to pull all related TCs that are related to USs that are marked 'Ready for Test'.  Thing is, I cannot see any fields in TC that I can use.
There is Status field but that is used for something else, ie 'Approved', 'Draft' etc.

I am somewhat limited to my limited technical knowledge and access, esp given our Jira SysAdmin has limited time.

Pls give me newbie basic options - if possible.
