TM4J: How to restrict certain user to access certain test plan/test cycle?

Hello,

I have a scenario that in a project I have 2 user groups (Group A and Group B) going to run same set of test cases but I don't want them able to see the test result done by other group.

So, is there anywhere that I allowed to set permission to restrict like Group A only able to access and run the test cycle for group A?

  • Hi HongLi,

Let me post a reply I've got from the Support team.

I don't think there's any way to do that from TM4J - its permission scheme applies to the entire project. So, the most straightforward way seems to be creating two projects and restricting access in the Jira settings.

So, if you want to investigate this behavior in detail, I recommend that you contact the Support Team directly. You can do this here: https://smartbear.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/42
