Hi jfelix
Tried your suggestion of reordering the test cases in Test tab but the new order is not reflecting on the Test Cycle π
Should I simply delete the test cycle and set up new one ?
Is the automatic order set as test case ID name ? as in CCPCNC-T130 (1.0) ?
I want the Order in the name of description where I have simply renamed test cases as 1/2/3 etc
Am I asking for reinvention of the wheel not sure and thank you for your patience π€
Hi Nasar!
I just tried those steps here and they worked for me. Could you please describe the steps you followed and what do you mean by the order is not being reflected in the test cycle? You mean that you change the order but when you reload the cycle it chages back?

Hi
Test cases numbers are automatic and the default sorting is by test case ID (Key)
I wanted to use the Test case Name to sort>>>> Test Cycle already has test cases sorted by Key
a) after reading this post I went to Test Case Tab and renamed the Test cases in an order that i wanted as in "01_Description "
b) Went back to the Test Cycle ( but the order remains as Key)
Solved it by - deleting the Test Cycle then recreating Test Cycle the Test Cases are sorted in Name order which is Good
Maybe i misunderstood your suggestion

Hi Nasar!
Yeah, recreating the test cycle does the trick as well but what I meant is that you could reorder the test cases within the cycle (via the Test Cases tab), putting them in the order you prefer. To do that, you can just drag and drop the test cases to the position you want.Cheers!
