Web Browser Closes When Trying to Record or Use Object Spy

I just updated to Test Complete version 8.6.0.665.7 from 8.5 and noticed that my web browser closes when I try to record or use the object spy. I am not sure if this is related to version 8.6 or has always been like that. I've tried this with Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.6
