waiting along time for the autocomplete ....

Hi,



when i use the autocompletes word (Crtl + Space Bar) or press "."

it takes like for ever till i see the options ... (1-3 min) 

is there anything to do about it ?

    2. What script language are you using?


    3. Give us a sample script line where this happens.

    thank you for your fast replay.



    regarding your questions here are the answers :

    1.Im using Test Complete version 9.1

    2.Im using VB script

    3.it happens in every line nothing special in a certain line or another ...

    Hi Oded,


     


    First of all, I'd recommend that you update to TestComplete 9.20. If the problem persists, please follow the steps below to help our R&D team figure the problem out:


     


    1. Run the Report Generator tool located in <TestComplete>\Bin\ReportGenerator.exe.


    2. Select the "Launch/attach to TestComplete" option.


    3. Reproduce the problem.


    4. Click the "Generate..." button in the Report Generator tool and save the report to a local folder.


    5. Send the report to our Support team with the description of the problem.

    Hi!



    I have the same exasperating problem with my TestComplete 9.20.2460.7 in JS script with "dot"-expressions.



    P.S. And tell Sergey Lukashenko that it's the BIG problem and that found issues should be fixed!

    Hi Nick,


     


    Sergey asked me to clear up the issue. Please answer the following questions:


    1. Does the issue occur every time?


    2. Is the issue reproduced with the newly created script unit?


    3. Can you post the problematic line here? Also, specify where the mouse cursor is located in it when the issue occurs.
