Verification Failed: Cannot switch to the console session

Greetings, (TC 9.2)



My test needs to log into the Console Session with different users but I am having issues verifying the host. 



The Administrator works just fine but with any other user I get the following error message:



Verification failed HostName (IP address): Cannot switch to the console session.



The Master Test Complete is running on a Win7 x64 and the target hosts are XP SP3 x86 and Win7 x64. The issue arises on the two target hosts.



I went through the documentation's "Message - Verification Failes" page and I tried playing around with the target machines policies with no luck.



Any pointers will really be appreciated !

    Hi Tanya,



    Thanks for your reply but our test needs to login automatically as various users so the manual option doesn't work for us as we target XP and Win7. With no user session, the Automatic Console Session connection works fine on server OS'.



    As Remote Desktop graphics capabilities are to low for our application that displays 3D images, we are currently implementing a TC solution that reboots, logs in with a specific user, runs the tests and does it all over again for the next user.



    It would have been really nice to have multiple client connection options in the distributed test suite. Something more than just Automatic (RDP Session)  like Dameware, Sysmantec PC Anywhere, etc.

    Could you add that feature to the suggestion database ?
