Hi,
This was an issue for me for a while,
There is no way with remote desktop to run a test with a closed or minimised window
You have to use a virtual machine
Did you change that setting on your local computer or the remote computer? The article which I referred ( https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/72139/ ) mentions we need to do it on the local computer. It was worked well for me.
Here is a post where someone else had a similaar issue : http://community.smartbear.com/t5/Getting-Started-with/Remote-Desktop-question-concerning-TC-web-using-a-node-license/m-p/112110#M21692

Hi djadhav,
Tests are running fine on local machine as well as on the remote machine when Remote Dektop Window is open, the problem is on minimizing that window even after making the desired changes on the local machine as mentioned in https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/72139/

The image of your regedit window shows that you used a QWORD instead of a DWORD. Does it make a difference if you change it to be a DWORD?

Hi joseph_michaud,
Thanks a lot. I didn't realise that I have created a QWORD instead of DWORD. I just saw the bracket values; 32 bit and 64 bit and mistakenly went ahead with 64 bit one(QWORD) assuming that it has do something with the bit version of windows.
Thanks, that solved my problem. :smileyhappy:
