Unable to Execute TestComplete Script from Command Prompt

Hello All,

We are using Test Complete 14.50 (desktop) for automation. We are using command prompt to execute the cases and was working properly for last couple of days. But now we are unable to execute the cases from Command prompt and error message "'TestComplete.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command" is displayed. We accessing Command prompt in Admin Mode. Please find the attached screenshot for more details. Please provide any suggestion on this issue

Thanks,

Varun

  • typically users receive this error when the path to the executable has not yet been added in as an environment variable. whether it be user or system level variable, you will need this (otherwise you will not be able to call on testcomplete as a recognized command or batch object)
